NYC intersection renamed after late hip hop icon

The busiest intersection in the Bronx, East Fordham Road & Grand Concourse has been named after Big Pun! Born Christopher Lee Rios he started a rap career under the stage name Big Pun & was the first Latino solo artist to go platinum which has made him a cherished icon forever. He provided inspiration for so many other Hispanics to later on follow suit & believe it can be done. What made him more special is no matter how much money success & fame he got, he vowed to never leave the Bronx till the day he died.
